Park Tower is a 25-story Class A High-Rise, located at the corner of 9th and J Streets and a key part of the Sacramento Public Library redevelopment block - the first step in the emerging J Street Corridor.
Park Tower was the 2009 winner of the TOBY Award. The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Award, honors the best of the best in commercial buildings. Also currently holds LEED Gold status.
Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz designed Park Tower for the future with architectural echoes of an elegant past. Limestone floors and columns combine with warm woods and elegant lighting to make a dramatic impression in the Building's lobby. The focal point of the Building is a magnificent contemporary lobby with its 3-story entrance atrium running the full length of the Building from 9th Street to Library Lane. Pedestrian walkways and crossovers on floors 2 and 3 contribute to a feeling of spaciousness.
On the ground floor are various retail establishments to serve the needs of the tenants and visitors alike. The office floors range in size from 28,000 rentable square feet to over 13,000 rentable square feet, with a two-story mechanical penthouse at the top, which is bathed in light at night, changing the skyline of Sacramento with its own special signature.
Adjoining Park Tower to the north is the Galleria Arcade, a large enclosed public space, connected with the elegantly refurbished and expanded Sacramento Public Library.
